At VECTOR, we’re big on backing people who put in the work. That’s why we’re proud to sponsor Mason Robinson, a driven under-21 rugby league player and former Burleigh Bears junior who is now in discussions with the South Sydney Rabbitohs.
Mason represents the next wave of elite athletes coming through the system. His rise over the past three seasons has been impressive, and it’s only the beginning.
2023: leadership at 16
At just 16 years old, Mason captained the Burleigh under 18’s side to a grand final. He finished the season as the club’s highest try scorer and was awarded best and fairest.
That combination of leadership, consistency and impact around the ruck is rare at that age. Playing hooker, he showed game awareness well beyond his years.\
2024: stepping into senior football
In 2024, Mason again captained the Burleigh under 18’s. He debuted in Reserve Grade for Burleigh Seniors and earned his place in the playing squad.
He was awarded Best Forward and named Player of the Year for the Gold Coast competition. Not bad for a 17-year-old still balancing school and senior footy.
It was a clear step up, and he handled it.
2025: captaincy, recognition and opportunity
In 2025, Mason made the move to Currumbin for under 20’s. He was voted in as captain and quickly made his mark.
He debuted in Reserve Grade for Currumbin and finished the season as Best and Fairest. His performances earned him a trial with the South Sydney Rabbitohs and a pre-season opportunity in their Jersey Flegg NSW squad.
That kind of progression doesn’t happen by accident. It’s built on discipline, early mornings, tough sessions, and a strong support network.

Why VECTOR is backing Mason
At VECTOR, we work in environments where performance matters. Whether it’s engineering, design or delivery, we value commitment and accountability.
Mason brings those same qualities to the field. He leads from the front, supports his teammates and keeps raising his standards each season.
We’re proud to support a local athlete who is chasing his goals the right way. Watching young talent move from junior club footy to conversations with an NRL powerhouse like the South Sydney Rabbitohs is something special.
We look forward to following Mason’s journey and playing a small part in what we believe will be a strong rugby league career ahead.
Go well, Mason.
