Westfield Carindale in Brisbane required a distinctive waterproof canopy structure to cover its car wash facility at 1151 Creek Road. The location is prominently visible from the car park and surrounding retail area, so the structure needed to be both highly functional and architecturally considered — a design that would reflect the quality of a Westfield-standard environment.
Vector Shade delivered a custom engineered cantilever waterproof PVC structure that sweeps over the car wash bays in a dramatic, wing-like form. The canopy is fabricated from Ferrari 802S2 fabric, providing full waterproof protection and durability in an environment with constant water exposure and vehicle traffic below. The steel framework is hot dip galvanised and 2-pack painted, combining excellent corrosion resistance with a premium appearance finish.
