Runaway Bay Shopping Centre needed shade across its customer car park to improve comfort for shoppers and protect vehicles from harsh UV exposure. VECTOR Shade Structures delivered a series of cantilevered, car park specific mesh structures, their sail-like canopies spanning rows of parking bays across the site.
Each canopy is fabricated from Monotec 370 knitted shade fabric, valued for its breathability and long-term UV protection. As the supporting steelwork for this project was completed by others, VECTOR’s scope centred on the shade canopies themselves, specialist work within our broader commercial shade structures capability for shopping centres.
The finished structures now provide shoppers with cooler, more comfortable parking across the centre, adding genuine everyday value to the Runaway Bay shopping experience.
