Ormiston College needed a striking, functional entrance statement, and VECTOR Shade Structures delivered a double flying disc PVC waterproof structure, its twin sweeping white canopies suspended above the entry driveway on slender central columns.
Each disc is clad in Ferrari 802S2 fabric, a fully waterproof PVC membrane that holds a crisp, tensioned profile while shedding rain and resisting UV degradation. The supporting steelwork is hot dip galvanised and finished with a 2-pack paint system for long-term corrosion resistance. The flying disc form is one of VECTOR’s signature commercial shade structures, combining architectural presence with genuine all-weather function.
The finished entry structures now give the college a bold architectural welcome while sheltering students and visitors from sun and rain alike.
