Masters Hardware in Bundall needed shade across its outdoor garden centre and car park area, and VECTOR Shade Structures delivered a series of free-form shade sails, their sweeping beige canopies stretched across the site to shelter customers and stock alike.
The sails are fabricated from Hortshade 80% fabric, a horticultural-grade shade cloth chosen for its high shade factor, well suited to protecting plants and garden stock from harsh UV exposure while still allowing airflow. As the supporting steelwork for this project was completed by others, VECTOR’s scope centred on the shade sails themselves, an application within our broader commercial shade sails capability for retail sites.
The finished sails now give customers and staff a shaded, comfortable shopping environment, protecting both people and plants from the Gold Coast sun.
