LORDS – Lutheran Ormeau Rivers District School in Pimpama needed to give students year-round access to their courts, and VECTOR Shade Structures delivered a double court engineered steel structure with a tensioned waterproof PVC canopy. The smooth white roof spans both courts in one continuous form, sheltering students from sun and rain alike.
The canopy is crafted from Serge Ferrari 902 fabric, backed by an impressive 20-year warranty, providing complete waterproofing along with long-lasting UV protection. Supporting steelwork combines hot dip galvanising with a Dulux Triplex Weather Max coating for outstanding corrosion resistance over the structure’s lifetime. As a waterproof shade structure spanning two full courts, it maximises usable outdoor sporting space for the school.
The result is a durable, all-weather sporting facility that keeps students active no matter the conditions, part of VECTOR’s ongoing work delivering sports canopies for schools across South East Queensland.
