Elanora State High School needed shade over its walkways and breezeways to protect students from the sun between classes. VECTOR Shade Structures delivered a series of hyper free-formed shade sails on engineered posts, their sweeping dark canopies twisting overhead to follow the line of the covered walkway below.

The sails are fabricated from Rainbow Shade Extreme 32, a heavy-duty fabric chosen for its high UV block and long-term durability in a busy school environment, while the supporting posts are hot dip galvanised for lasting corrosion resistance. This hyper sail design is a popular choice among VECTOR’s education shade structures, combining striking architectural form with genuine everyday protection.

The finished sails now give students and staff a shaded, comfortable route between buildings, adding real value to everyday school life at Elanora SHS.
