Butler Central Shopping Centre in Western Australia needed shade across its expansive car park to improve the comfort of shoppers and protect parked vehicles from harsh UV exposure. VECTOR Shade Structures delivered a series of cantilevered, car park specific mesh structures, their repeating sail-like forms spanning row after row of parking bays.
Each structure is clad in Monotec 370 knitted shade fabric, valued for its breathability, UV protection and resistance to fading over years of sun exposure. The supporting steelwork is hot dip galvanised, providing long-term corrosion resistance suited to WA’s coastal climate.
