Runaway Bay Council Library needed a weatherproof cover for its entrance and walkway, and VECTOR Shade Structures delivered an engineered steel structure with a tensioned waterproof PVC canopy to do the job. The crisp white roof arcs over the entry path, giving library visitors a dry, shaded approach to the building in any weather.
The canopy is made from Serge Ferrari 702S2 fabric, backed by a 15-year warranty, providing complete waterproofing and strong UV protection, while the steel frame is hot dip galvanised and two pack painted for long-term durability in the outdoor environment. As a genuine waterproof shade structure, it keeps the entrance functional and comfortable no matter the weather.
The result is a welcoming, all-weather entry for library visitors, part of VECTOR’s continued work delivering shade structures for local councils across the Gold Coast.
